FACTS. - A Salt Lake County food store was robbed. Stilling was arrested in Oregon on unrelated Weber County fugitive warrants. Since he was in Oregon prison, Weber County lodged a detainer and obtained temporary custody. Salt Lake County also lodged detainers with Oregon, but, upon learning that Stilling was in temporary custody in Weber County, it requested temporary custody of Weber County. Stilling was convicted on the Weber County charges, and custody was transferred to Salt Lake County, but the district court returned him to Oregon, because Salt Lake officials had not received Oregon authorization. Stilling was paroled in Oregon, and came to Utah to serve his Weber County sentence.
